The TASHCO Board of Directors will present a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior. The student must have participated in the Young Artists Festival for a minimum of two times and must be planning a college major or minor in arts performance or arts education.
Students are required to write a short essay discussing their goals as they relate to the arts, and include the benefits they have received from participation in the Young Artists Festival. They must also acquire at least two letters of recommendation. One must be from their private teacher and one must be from an educator or government leader.

Include your essay, recommendation letters and a photo and hand deliver to the Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center (111th and Colorado Blvd) no later than 9pm, April 4th 2022. Eligible seniors can also mail their documents to Young Artists Alliance, 13141 Logan Street, Thornton, Colorado 80241. The postmark should be no later than April 4th, 2022.
In April, applicants will be interviewed in a closed screening process by board members representing TASHCO and the Young Artists Alliance. If necessary, students may be asked to submit a CD or video demonstrating performance capabilities.
